Blown in our home state of Oregon, this super thick and heavy piece weighs in well over a whole pound while only standing at approximately 9.25in! This shredder features a 2-hole downstem that’s welded smoothly into the base for extra support. Super thick where it counts on the joint, base, and mouthpiece! Julian, the mastermind behind each handblown High Bastard Boro piece has over a decade of experience in the glass world and his work shows as much. Learning the craft from masters such as Alan Amsterdam from Capitol Hemp, Rick from K Nine Tubes, Inkz Glass, Sovereignty, Toro and Mothership just to name a few; If you look closely you can see small influences in High Bastard Boros’ work today. The color schemes he uses are similar to Mothership and K Nine, and some of his pieces are even reminiscent of Inkz Glass in their shape.
